The Alberta Child Care Association would like to thank all who applied for the Leadership Bursary Grant. Our vision to support the education of child care professionals was an opportunity provided to us by Alberta Children and Youth Services. We would like to thank the Alberta Government, for its support for child care professionals.

Part of the mission of the association is to continue to provide educational opportunities for Child Development Supervisors (CDS). Alberta Children and Youth Service has provided a NEW grant for Child Development Supervisors that includes up to $350.00 for the fiscal year – April1, 2011 to March 31, 2012. The intent of this grant is to help Child Development Supervisors with the cost of attending approved workshops, conferences and post secondary credit administration course that enhance child care program leadership skills, offered at recognized post secondary institutions in Alberta.
