Objectives of the Association

1. To advance a unified child care profession by providing support, education and recognition of our members.
2. To promote or endorse quality child care on behalf of the children and families of Alberta.
3. To provide a meeting place for the consideration and discussion of questions affecting the interests of the child care community.
4. To provide a centre and a suitable meeting place for the various activities of the child care community.
5. To provide a forum for the sharing of information between the child care community and all levels of government.
6. To provide a forum for the communication and consultation of the child care community.
7. To support early childhood training, education and the students who participate.
8. To examine and evaluate government policy and initiatives as it pertains to child care.
9. To develop and maintain provincial representation.
