A reminder to all staff holding a Child Development Supervisors Certificate. The cut-off date for applications to the Alberta Child Care Association for PD funding for the 2010-11 fiscal year, is February 15, 2011. The fiscal year is April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011.

Beginning April 1, 2010, Child Development Supervisors in pre-accredited and accredited programs or agencies may access up to $500.00 for approved  conferences or workshops through the Alberta Child Care Assocation Bursary Program. 

For Child Development Supervisors to access PD funding, you will need to provide the Alberta Child Care Association with:

• a copy of your child care supervisor certificate;
• a copy of the conference / workshop invitiation, invoice or receipt;
• a copy of the ACCA PD Grant Application filled out by both you and your employer.

Be sure to note that we will pay in advance for events to occur within the next 3 months, but you must submitt a receipt of the event immediately after completion for verification.
